MY LOCKDOWN ROMANCE – Sub Eng

Tom is a closed sack man living alone in his condo in Manila during the Enhanced Community Quarantine. Tom lives in fear and insecurity, choosing to force himself out of the world. To help her cope, she keeps herself busy with her job as a freelance accountant and communicates with her best friend, Gad, through video calls. Unexpectedly, Tom’s long-lost college friend from Hawaii, Kendrick, reconnects with him. Kendrick is the exact opposite of Tom, independent living in life and in its entirety. Unbeknownst to Kendrick, Tom still secretly loves her and hopes that their reunion can blossom into something wonderful, even if he does not admit his true feelings. That is, until Kendrick admits the reason for his return – a girl broke his heart. After deciding to stay away from his friend, Tom finds out that Kendrick has contracted coronavirus, with no one to take care of him. Now, the cowardly Tom risked his life to visit and help Kendrick recover. Through this, Tom tries to gain enough courage to finally admit to Kendrick how he feels, before it is too late.
